Le peintre allemand Carl HEUSER est un artiste né à Munich en 1827. Il était un portraitiste et peintre de genre. Il serait le père de l'artiste Christian Heuser (1863-1942) qui a peint des sujets similaires. Il s'est spécialisé dans la peinture de portraits très détaillés d'hommes et de femmes bavarois et souabes. Beaucoup de ses œuvres présentent des hommes locaux fumant des pipes en écume de mer ou des femmes dans leurs costumes et coiffures formels. Son style est similaire à celui d'artistes tels que le peintre autrichien Carl Kronberger (1841-1921). Il meurt en 1892.

The German painter Carl HEUSER is an artist born in Munich in 1827. He was a portrait painter and genre painter. He is said to be the father of artist Christian Heuser (1863-1942) who painted similar subjects. He specialized in painting very detailed portraits of Bavarian and Swabian men and women. Many of his works appear of local men smoking meerschaum pipes or women in their formal costumes and hairstyles. His style is similar to that of artists such as the Austrian painter Carl Kronberger (1841-1921). He died in 1892.
