Le peintre italien Enrico Lionne naît à Naples en 1865. Initié à l'art par Enrico Fiore, élève de Morelli, il fréquente l'environnement des artistes napolitains de la Piazza Dante, où écrivains, journalistes et critiques se côtoient. Il s'installe à Rome et commence en 1895 à l'exposition « Amateurs et cultures » avec le portrait d'Arnaldo Vassallo. Deux ans plus tard, il est à la Biennale de Venise et 1899 il expose « Dans la Campagne romaine » et en 1904 aux « Amateurs et Cultures ». Il participe à la Biennale jusqu'en 1910. En 1911, il est à l'Expo Internationale des BA et présente 3 poinçons et 3 peintures à l'huile. Il s'intensifie dans les éditions de 1912 et 1915. La même année, il obtient une médaille d'or à l'Expo internationale des BA de San Francisco. Il décède en 1921.

The Italian painter Enrico Lionne was born in Naples in 1865. Introduced to art by his fellow citizen Enrico Fiore, a pupil of Morelli, he frequented the Neapolitan artistic environment of Piazza Dante, where writers, journalists and critics rubbed shoulders. He moved to the bcapital and began in 1895 at the "Amateurs et cultures" exhibition with the portrait of Arnaldo Vassallo. Two years later, he participated in the Venice Biennale and in 1899 he exhibited "In the Roman Campaign" and in 1904 to "Amateurs and Cultures". His participation in the Biennale was constant until 1910. In 1911, he was at the International Exhibition of Fine Arts and presented three hallmarks and tire oil paintings. He was even more active in the editions of 1912 and 1915. The last year, he obtained a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Fine Arts in San Francisco. He died in 1921.
